We require that any blood-thinning medications be held prior to your procedure, but defer to your prescribing physician for directions as to how long to hold such medications.

 

If you take any blood thinners (Warfarin, Xarelto, etc.) you MUST consult with your PCP or your Cardiologist to see when you should stop taking the medication prior to your procedure.

If your physician tells you that you cannot stop taking the medication, you must get in contact with our office so that we can let the physician know ahead of time.

Failure to notify us can result in your  procedure being rescheduled.
