Dr. Forman received his M.D. from the University of Maryland in 2001. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland- Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center. After serving as Chief Resident at Mercy Medical Center, he completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Maryland- Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

During his fellowship, he received extensive training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Therapeutic Endoscopy including advanced ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound. In addition to having received various teaching awards, he has been awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He has authored numerous publications, presented at national meetings, and lectured on topics ranging from Colorectal Cancer Screening to Professionalism in Medicine.

In addition to performing conventional Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy, Dr. Forman offers a variety of specialized techniques including advanced therapeutic ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Esophageal, Enteral, and Colonic Stenting as well as difficult polypectomy.
