Dr. Hyatt was a graduate of Franklin Marshall College with a degree in Biology and Government in 1994, attended Duquesne University Post-Baccalaureate where he majored in Pre-Med and was awarded his M.D. degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 2000.

Upon graduation, Dr. Hyatt completed his internship and residency at Brown University in Internal Medicine from 2000 – 2003. He remained at Brown University for his Fellowship in Gastroenterology from 2003 – 2006. Dr. Hyatt received an additional year of advanced training in Therapeutic Endoscopy under the direction of Dr. Paul Akerman at Brown University. While at Brown University, he was the recipient of the Harvey Lesselbaum Memorial Award for clinical excellence in medicine.
